Nestable Pallets

Nestable Pallets are designed to save space by allowing the pallets to nest within each other when not in use. They are ideal for efficient storage and transportation, reducing the overall cost and space required.

Stackable Pallets

Stackable Pallets are built to be securely stacked on top of each other, maximizing vertical storage space. They provide stability and safety, making them suitable for warehouses and distribution centers.

Bulka Pallets

Bulka Pallets are primarily designed to carry bulka bags of grain like substances.  They are usually low rise pallets to take advantage of allowing more height to be utilised in container space. Some opt for even lower heights for forklift only use, while some are just low enough to still enjoy the use of manual pallet jacks for materials handling.

Low Rise Pallets

Low Rise Pallets are designed with a lower height profile.  Bulka pallets usually fall into this category.  However, choosing a low rise pallet is mostly just to allow extra space for product rather than paying for the space the pallet itself takes up.  An example of a pallet that has a lower profile but remains pallet jackable is the Plaspal 255 from IB Pallets.

4-Way Pallets

4-Way Pallets allow forklifts to approach and lift the pallet from any of the four sides. This feature provides greater flexibility and efficiency in handling and transporting goods.

2-Way Pallets

2-Way Pallets can be accessed from only two sides, making them more suited for specific storage configurations. Most Australian Standard Rackable Pallets are 2-Way only due to the construction often utilising load-bearing sides.

4-Way Pallet Jack

4-Way Pallet Jacks are designed to maneuver 4-way pallets, offering access from all four sides. They enhance the ease and efficiency of moving pallets in tight spaces.

2-Way Pallet Jack

2-Way Pallet Jacks are used with 2-way pallets, providing lifting and moving capabilities from two sides. They are ideal for straightforward pallet handling tasks.

Pallets with Rails

When we talk about Pallets with Rails we usually refer to either Nestable Pallets that have the option to connect rails, or already structured pallets with immovable rails.  The first allows massive price savings on transport and storage, as well as options for floor storage where 150mm is required.  The second has to do with the pallet construction itself, which offers strength whilst opting for a different pallet mould to the window frame pallet mould.

Clustered Feet Pallets

Clustered Feet Pallets are usually nestable plastic pallets that have multiple feet clustered together to provide extra support and stability. They are just one mechanism used for continued protection of goods in the event of forklift damage to one of the feet.

Light Duty Pallets

Light Duty Pallets are designed for lighter loads and less demanding applications. They are a cost-effective solution for businesses with minimal weight requirements.  Some Light Duty Pallets are so well constructed their load bearing weights are increased substantially, usually as long as stretch wrapping or other packing methods support the application.

Medium Duty Pallets

Medium Duty Pallets offer a balance between strength and weight capacity, making them versatile for various applications. They are suitable for most general-purpose storage and transport needs.

Heavy Duty Pallets

Heavy Duty Pallets are built to handle the heaviest loads, offering maximum durability and strength. They are ideal for industrial use and heavy manufacturing environments.  Many organizations use heavy duty plastic pallets for a wide variety of applications.  Some heavy duty plastic pallets can have a static work load of up to ten tonne.

Rackable Pallets

Rackable Pallets are designed to fit securely on storage racks, providing safe and stable storage solutions. They are ideal for warehouses and distribution centers.

Plastic Export Pallets are also available in specific sizes that allow Reefer Container efficiencies to be optimised for increased sales and decreased costs.

Hygiene Pallets

Plastic Hygiene Pallets are made from materials that are easy to clean and sanitize, making them ideal for industries with strict hygiene standards, such as food and pharmaceuticals, or any warehouse clean room.  They are usually constructed to reduce or prevent capturing product or dust in crevices.  They usually have a solid top.

Small Aircraft Pallets

Oversized Pallets

Oversized Pallets are built to handle large and irregularly shaped items, offering extra support and stability for oversized loads.

Skids

Skids is a pallet term most often used to describe small pallets.  They can be plastic nestable pallets or plastic stackable pallets but their smaller size usually identifies them as skids.  The same can be said for their timber counterparts.

Vented or Grilled Pallets

Vented Pallets are also sometimes referred to as Grilled Pallets.  Both feature openings or vents to allow for better air circulation. They are ideal for products that require ventilation, such as fresh produce.

Solid Top Pallets

Solid Top Pallets feature a solid surface, offering maximum support and stability for a wide range of goods. They are ideal for items that require a flat surface.  Clustered Feet Nestable Pallets offer something close to a solid surface and are appropriate for storing and transporting smaller size cartons at reduced costs of transport and storage.

Beverage Pallets

High Virgin Content Pallets are made from high-quality virgin materials, ensuring maximum strength and durability. They are suitable for demanding applications where reliability is crucial, or the most vibrant colours are required.

Coloured Pallets

Coloured Pallets are available in various colors, allowing for easy identification and organization. They are ideal for inventory management and visual sorting in warehouses.  Most plastic pallets contain a mix of recycled and new raw materials, which allow for different spectrums of colour selection.
